The SunRace Story
SunRace was established by Mr. Hendra Wijaya, a visionary entrepreneur who initially ventured into the sale and production of electrical bicycle lamps. With the resounding success of his products across the globe in the 1980s, Mr. Wijaya gradually diversified his business to encompass the manufacturing of parts that integrated electrical and bicycle components.

In the early 2000s, Mr. Wijaya recognized the burgeoning potential of electric bikes as a mainstay of eco-friendly transportation on a global scale. Consequently, SunRace constructed its first manufacturing and production plant in East Java in 2000, which has since become the company's primary production center for electric bikes and electric motorcycles.

In the ensuing years, SunRace's unwavering commitment to innovation and quality led to the development of its flagship electric bike, the "SunRace Super". More than 65% of the components in the "SunRace Super" were sourced locally, including its steel frames, plastic covers, and other mechanical parts.
